Meet Michaele

Hi there! I’m Michaele, a trauma-focused therapist (AMFT), certified yoga instructor, and founder of Kell’s Well. I fuse my analytical, solutions-focused, strategic skillset, honed over my decade-long career in finance, with my compassionate, trauma-informed, heart for people to support my clients in aligning with their wellness intentions both in their personal and professional lives.

I believe our well-being should be centered in every arena, period. If we’re not well, nothing else matters. I believe wellness is a key pillar to our collective liberation and although communities of color are disproportionately impacted by systemic oppression, our ancestors and elders knew a little something about taking care of themselves. Our goal is to get back to the roots by reclaiming practices that have worked for generations, while also reimagining our futures and establishing sustainable ways of caring for ourselves in a modern world.

Additional training and credentials include: certified Trauma of Money facilitator, founding member of the YogaRenew Mindfulness course, and alumni of BetterUp coaching foundations program. Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management & Organization from Spelman College and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.

“[Practicing radical self-care] means we're able to bring our entire selves into the movement," she said. "It means we incorporate into our work as activists ways of acknowledging and hopefully moving beyond trauma. It means a holistic approach."
